Election 2026

Illinois Election Day is November 2, 2026.

First day to vote early or by mail is September 24, 2026. Be sure you are registered to vote and make sure sure your information is up to date on Illinois’s election website.

Early Voting opens at downtown Supersite (137 S State St) and Board of Elections Office (69 W Washington).

Not yet registered to vote? You can register online by October 18, 2026. This is often the fastest way to register to vote or update your registration, including changing your name or address, and for some states, political party.

You can also use Illinois’s mail-in registration form. You’ll need to print the form, fill it out, and mail it to your state election office by October 6, 2026. You’ll need access to a printer and a postage stamp.
