DuPage Custodians Mop Shop with Union Contract Wins

DuPage School District custodial workers recently won a new contract, which included strong wage increases, healthcare benefit improvements and four-day work weeks during the summer.

“I think the summer hours being allowed for the maintenance and custodian staff is a win-win for all. The staff get to recharge and also spend time with their loved ones, and the district gets employees that truly feel like they are a part of the district family,” said Anthony Harris, a custodian at DuPage.
