New Contract for Waukegan Parks

Congratulations to Waukegan Parks members after a lengthy negotiation for signing a new contract!

Some highlights to this four year contract:
Years one, three and four will see a 3% increase.
Year two will see a $1.25, 3.5%, or brought up to $20 an hour, whichever is greater.
Me too clauses on raises, vacation days, sick time, and holidays which means anything non union staff get we get!
Longevity bonus increase – $500 one time payment at 5 years, increases by $250 every 5 years (10 years $750, 15 years $1000, ect…)
$200 boot allowance (up from $100)
Part-time workers are now on the overtime list
