Cicero Community Service Officers Celebrate Major Contract Gains

Every day Community Service Officers (CSOs) in the Town of Cicero provide valuable public service and law enforcement related duties on non-emergency calls, traffic control, and other tasks. Members unanimously approved the new five-year contract that recognizes the work these officers provide to their community.
“The Union took negotiations very seriously and the results speak for themselves,” said Dolores D’Angelo, Community Service Officer, Steward, and Bargaining Team member. “These are the best raises we’ve seen and make the job worth keeping.”
Cicero CSOs will receive nearly $8 in wage increases over the course of the new contract, as well as an increase in pay for working out of classification. In addition, CSOs won increases in vacation, personal, and holiday leave, and the clothing/cleaning allowance.
