Local 73 Member Lorie Alexander Meets with President-elect Biden

On December 2, President-elect Joe Biden hosted a virtual roundtable on the economic impact of COVID-19, hearing personal stories from four Americans whose lives have been dramatically changed by the pandemic. 

Among them was SEIU Local 73 member Lorie Alexander, a school crossing guard in Chicago.

“I pray that we can get some type of stimulus package where we again can take care of our families,” Lorie Alexander said.  “It’s been such a pleasure to work with Local 73…because they have been helping and guiding me through this pandemic.”
