Unemployment Insurance for K-12 Support Staff and Higher Ed Workers
This bill would amend the Unemployment Insurance Act to allow all K-12 Support Staff and Higher Ed Workers who are out of work for the summer to apply for unemployment insurance aid. Fix Tier 2
We Are One Illinois just filed SB 1937, amended legislation that makes real progress to ensure public employees on Tier 2 can receive a more fair and decent pension while also strengthening the state’s finances for the long term. In 2010, the Illinois General Assembly created a “Tier 2” of separate, lower pension benefits for public employees hired after 2011. You can learn more about our bill and the fight to fix Tier 2 here
