Kill The Cuts!

On Tuesday, April 8, 2025 workers and educators across the country stood up and demanded NO cuts to education and life-saving research.

By cutting funds to lifesaving research and medical care, the Trump administration is abandoning families who are suffering and costing taxpayers billions of dollars. These cuts are dangerous to our health, and dangerous to our economy.

Local 73 members at UChicago who are non-tenure-track faculty gathered with AAUP Local members to organize and stand together to defend education in our country.
