Park District of Oak Park New Contract

Congratulations to PDOP members for securing a contract with some major wins! Their contract was officially ratified on Wednesday with a 100% unanimous YES vote!

Here are some highlights of this new contract:
– 3-6% raise in year 1 (depending on probation status)
– 1-3.5% raise each year after that (depending on annual review)
– Guaranteed 1% raise each year
– Increased pay scales
– Better holiday pay

We’re really happy about what we won this contract cycle! We were able to secure a guaranteed wage increase each year which in the past was completely dependent on our performance review. It was our biggest issue and we’re proud to have made progress in that area!
