In Memoriam: Kathy Baxter

On April 1, 2024, we lost a cherished member of our SEIU Local 73 family, Kathy Baxter. Kathy served as a steward at Sparc for years, passionately working to strengthen our union.

Kathy was such a committed steward that despite looking forward to retirement she was also devoted to making sure she left her unit in strong hands. Sadly, retirement never came for her. Her sudden departure has deeply impacted our community. Our thoughts are with Kathy’s family during this difficult time. She will be fondly remembered for her dedicated service.
