In Memoriam: James Stokes and Adam Hawkins

Local 73 is mourning the loss of members James Stokes and Adam Hawkins who were tragically killed in an accident involving a vehicle in Memphis while on vacation.

James Stokes was a Steward and Maintenance Serviceman – Brooklyn for St. Clair County Housing Authority. Adam Hawkins was a brand new member and Maintenance Serviceman – Scattered Sites reporting to Central Warehouse in Belleville for St. Clair County Housing Authority.

The Heartlinks Grief Center is making their services available to SCCHA employees and members of James and Adam’s families. Their number is 618-277-1800. Any employee may reach out to Heartlinks on a confidential basis if needed and when the time seems right.
