Grievance Results in $17,000+ Victory for Member at Envision Unlimited

Torreese Crosby-Cook, Community Living Specialist at Envision – Olympia, recently won a massive settlement after a successful SEIU Local 73 grievance. Crosby-Cook was suspended pending an independent investigation, but was exonerated once the Office of the Inspector General cleared him from any wrongdoing. However, the employer violated the collective bargaining agreement by terminating Crosby-Cook without paying out his remaining wages, resulting in the union filing a grievance, led by Field Representative Tim Ball.

As a result, Crosby-Cook was awarded over $17,000 to compensate for his unfair termination.
