Local 73 Officers Meet with Downstate Members

SEIU Local 73 officers toured downstate Illinois facilities to meet with members and hear what they had to say about ongoing and upcoming contract negotiations. The tour included multiple Secretary of State driver services facilities, Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville, Illinois State University, and the Illinois Agricultural Association.

“Illinois is a big state and our members keep this state running,” said President Dian Palmer. “Our members at SIU-E are currently in negotiations. SOS and ISU negotiations start next year. And while we are always available via phone, email, and text, relationships and understanding are built through face-to-face meetings. Our officers are committed to keeping Local 73 a strong union with active and involved members. We are truly stronger together!”
