Palatine School District Custodial and Maintenance Workers Reach Tentative Agreement

The Local 73 bargaining committee has reached a tentative agreement with Palatine Community Consolidated School District 15 on a four-year contract extension for custodial and maintenance workers.

The tentative agreement includes pay raises as well as significant increases in stipends and allowances available to skilled maintenance workers. We also won for everyone who has worked through the pandemic the choice of three extra personal days or three extra days pay.

A ratification vote is tentatively scheduled for Friday, March 5 at Carl Sandburg School. Members will be allowed to cast ballots and ask questions in small groups between 2-4 pm. Masks and social distancing will be required.
