Local 73 Affiliates with United Working Families

We are pleased to announce that SEIU Local 73 has affiliated with United Working Families (UWF).

“This affiliation is of mutual benefit to both our organizations,” said Dian Palmer, President of SEIU Local 73. “We believe in fighting for quality public education, high quality jobs, affordable housing and corporate accountability. Together we will continue to fight for our shared values.”

UWF has strengthened the movement for racial, social, and economic justice in Illinois, combining the mass base of the labor movement with the innovation of the grassroots.
