Progress in Sheriff’s Office Negotiations

Today we held negotiations with the Sheriff’s Office and the Federal Mediator. We made significant progress on a number of issues including ensuring workers have the correct title and pay grade.

It is clear that we should be receiving the $1,250 in pandemic pay the same as other essential employees.

We must continue to stand together and fight for the sacrifice and risk we continue to take during this health crisis.

For us to be excluded sends a clear message our lives are not as important.

It is time to send a message back. We are prepared to strike. Take a moment to sign up for a picket shift so we are prepared when the time to strike happens.
