Valerie Tines for Chicago Park District Pension Fund Trustee

Valerie Tines is a Park Supervisor who has worked at Chicago Park District for 15 years. As a long time employee, secure pension benefits are important to Valerie. She believes that Chicago Park District members worked hard and paid their portion. It’s now time for the employer to pay their fair share.

Valerie Tines’ platform includes advocating for the Chicago Park District to increase their contributions; protecting members’ constitutional rights under the pension protection clause; investing in low-cost index funds; and, being a strong advocate for increasing Tier 2 benefits.
