Village of Justice Workers Secure Big Raises and Longevity Bonuses in New Contract

Village of Justice Public Works Workers unanimously ratified their new contract which contains big raises and longevity bonuses among other benefits.

“This contract is great because it’s helping us catch up with inflation and with our peers in other public works departments,” said Jacob Pemble, Steward and Bargaining Committee Member.

The new contract includes 14.5% raises over the next four years; longevity bonuses of $1,000 and $2,000 after completing years 10 and 20 respectively; an additional sick day; and an additional $150 for uniform allowance.
