Major Wins for Aurora East School District #131

Our new Aurora East SD #131 Contract has been ratified with more than 80% voting YES!

This new contract is for four years. At the end of the four years, the current custodian tier system, which has new custodians currently making $16 an hour, will be eliminated. In the last year of the contract, all custodians will be making over $25 an hour.

All other job classifications will receive 3.5% increases in the first three years and 3% the last year.

Longevity bonuses have been increased significantly, in some case doubling or tripling!

Night shift workers will now receive a paid 30-minute lunch.
