Quincy School District Workers Secure Raises and More in New Contract

Workers at Quincy School District # 172 have a new two-year contract including annual wage increases, a bereavement day for the death of a student, and a one time longevity bonus payable end of the 2026-27 school year ($400 for 15-19 years of service, $800 for those with more than 20 years of service).

The unit represents 32 bus drivers, bus riders, custodians, family support specialists, and food service workers, who provide essential services for the students and staff of Quincy.

“We secured the best possible contract given the uncertain times for funding of early childhood,” said Barbara Foster, Bus Rider, Steward, and Bargaining Team Member.
