 | | Local 73 and Unit 2 went out to City Hall on June 25th to rally for afair contract and justice on the job. At the Daley Plaza on ClarkStreet our members demanded they be given a fair contract, whichincluded: respect for the established scheduling rules and the FederalLabor Standards Act for Traffic Control Aides (hourly); restoring health insurance for newly hired Crossing Guards; and respectingseniority --Detention Aides must have the right to first bids onvacancies.
